The reconstruction of the Davis Avenue Bridge will span Woods Run and reconnect the Brighton Heights neighborhood to the adjacent 259-acre Riverview Park.  Designed by HNTB the new pedestrian and bike bridge replaces the vehicular bridge that was demolished in 2009.  With the demolition of the Davis Avenue Bridge, the nearest park connections are over 1 mile away.

UpStudio designed the bridge approaches, connecting the neighborhood streetscape and extending a paved trail that connects to the Riverview Park Loop Trail.  The landscape, signage and furnishings used draw on the materials palette of Riverview Park to create a cohesive and accessible park experience.
